MY STORY
More About Me.
Professionally, I’m a CPA, CMA, CIA, and CRMA, trained to recognize patterns in systems and processes, and with two decades of experience advising Executive teams and Boards of Directors on strategy and organizational effectiveness. I’ve held senior leadership roles in Risk Management and Finance, including Chief Risk Officer, and a Group Vice President role leading professionals in Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Quality.
Over the past two years, I’ve invested thousands of hours in studying the “patterns of people”, diving deep into the science of human behavior with a specific interest in understanding why so many mid life, ambitious professionals are struggling. At the same time, I’ve gotten back to my core strength as a strategic consultant in governance, leadership, governance, and organizational effectiveness. I continue to serve consult aning clients and am excited to launch Forward in Focus to provide direct, personalized support to ambitious, midlife high achievers who are facing unprecedented uncertainty, complexity, and pressure.
My lived experience mirrors the challenges my clients face: high-stakes decision-making, the challenge of sustaining high levels of performance, and the work of realigning a successful life that no longer feels quite right. This unique blend of professional expertise, evidence-based training, curiousity, and lived experience gives a meaningful edge. I am not coaching for PERFORMANCE – I am coaching for clarity – with care and compassion.
Core Values and Approach
In creating Forward in Focus, my vision is to build a safe, supportive space where midlife high-achievers can better understand their unique gifts, strengths, and lived experience, reconnect with their values and redfine their identity. Everything we do is designed to help clients pause, reflect, and realign – without pressure, perfectionism, or judgment.
To realize this vision, the following core values guide resource and program design and how the coaches, facilitators, and participants engage with each other:
The 4C Compass – we orient our ecosystem around:
- Connection,
- Compassion,
- Curiosity, and
- Continuous Learning.
The 4A Anchor Process – we facilitate intentional reflection that cultivates:
- Awareness,
- Acceptance,
- Agency, and,
- Authenticity
