The 4A Anchor Processโ„ข

The 4A Anchor Processโ„ข will work for anyone. That said, it is designed especially with high-functioning adults with ADHD in mind.ย ย 

Did you know that children with ADHD have, on average, 20,000 more critical comments directed their way than their neurotypical peers?  No wonder we learn to doubt ourselves!  We can learn how to self-assess, diagnose, and address the root causes of overwhelm, exhaustion, and common ADHD symptoms like lack of focus and task paralysis.  

You donโ€™t need someone else telling you what you โ€œshouldโ€ do.  You need practical strategies that recognize you are resourceful, capable, and worthy and that teach you how to live with main character energy, navigating whatever life throws at you with clarity and confidence.  

The 4A Anchor Processโ„ข is a self-leadership framework inspired by work in strategy and organizational effectiveness, and by gaps I saw in the personal development space as I worked through my own series of life changes and identity shifts.

It can be applied to any situation or circumstance.  Hereโ€™s how it works:

First, step back and assess current state (AWARENESS). To do this, we primarily use

  • A 4-Dimensional Life Satisfaction Assessment Tool, and
  • An Energy and Capacity Assessment Tool.

Then, decide how you want to show up and what impact you want to have (AUTHENTICITY). To do this, we provide:

  • A Values Based Decision Making Guide, and
  • A Directional Vision Map.

Next, figure out what is required to become the person who has that impact and get properly resourced (ACCEPTANCE). This aspect of the framework includes:

  • An Inner Signals Guide, and
  • An Emotional Regulation and Grounding Toolkit.

And finally – take intentional action, reflect, learn, adjust, and keep taking the next right step in the direction you want to go (AGENCY).

The limitation of most leadership and personal development programs is their bias to make you PERFORM better and DO more – not to live confidently within your capacity.
